IdentityI am a passionate teacher. I completed my engineering from MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, in 2014. I have been teaching since 2010, gaining an experience of ten years. So far, I have taught about 250 students. I used to work in MNCs and teach part-time, but I have reverted to full-time teaching for the last five years. I have four-year experience teaching schools of IB board in Bangalore and Pune.
I try to keep my teaching style simple for students to understand. Every student has a different grasping power, so I accommodate my classes accordingly. I can help students in excelling in their IB & IGCSE Curriculum. IB & IGCSE board is entirely different compared to CBSE or conventional boards. Their expectation of their student is also different. A student needs to understand what IB board expects from them in their exam to get good grades. My classes are designed to adjust to different expectations, learners’ abilities, and the demands of the education boards. With so many years of experience working with multiple students, I understand the right approach one would need to proceed further. And with my knowledge and understanding, I do my best to help my students.
I’m flexible with my teaching styles. I believe concept clearance is most important for students to understand the subject. I have taught in different schools throughout my teaching career. I teach students from standard 7 to 12 classes. For classes seven to tenth, I take subjects like Maths, Science, Hindi, History, and Geography for IB and IGCSE Board. For Eleventh and twelve, I teach only Maths and Physics. I prefer individual classes on both platforms, online and offline. That way, I pay better attention to my students. I keep changing my teaching style and patterns from time to time. To teach efficiently, I use GoogleMeet and Zoom platforms. I often use Openboard, an app, to demonstrate problems or explain concepts. Worksheets based on the discussed topics in the class are also available to the students. To track my student's progress, I take periodic tests and make sure we work on the mistakes together.
