This course is for anyone who would like to quickly learn the basics of programming.
It is typically centered for students right from the age of 8 years to help them understand the basic building blocks of programming and help in logic development. This course helps students visualize the outcomes of their programs in a fun and learn way.
This course has 2 levels
Level 1 - beginner level for age group 8-10 years
Level 2 - Advance level for age group 11 and above.
Course would cover -
• Introduction to Scratch, Sprites, backgrounds, movement of sprites,
adding sounds, screens.
•Event Listeners, Loops, Conditional statements, User input, Cartesian
coordinates, Variables, Message broadcasting.
•Nested loops, Complex Conditionals, Cloning, String and mathematical
operators, Lists, Functions.
During the course, kids would be taught basics of programming and logic development. They would be exploring various uses of Scratch programming to build 2D and even 3D games and animated cards to creating their own cartoon strips and building their own story books online.
