Hi Chandan,
Let me tell you a strategy. When you play chess, if you play with the person who is better than you, then your game will improve or else the other person's game would not enhance yours. Thats how it is! If you want to speak English fluently make sure you communicate with people who speak better English than you.
If you're someone who is not interested in learning books, you can watch or listen to simple English audios like jokes, stories, standup comedies, anything that interests you. It is because you won't forget that; we all started to speak in our mother tongue just by listening to others.
If you want to speak English fluently, this will help you, but for the written part is a different story.

It depends on which module you're going to take, either Academic or General. For instance, General Reading is easy compared to Academic Reading, and General writing would be more comfortable compared to Academic. The end of the day its the individual's hard work that counts. Just preparing for this test won't help you in getting more than Band 7. For higher bands, you need to put yourself in an atmosphere where English is of top priority. Yes, the band 9 is achievable provided you spend quality time for preparation.
