Hi, Appreciate your desire to motivate others. Two things that can help you become a motivational speakers are: 1. Develop phenomenal speaking skills 2. Have original content to deliver You probably know that not all motivational speakers succeed in market. Most audience come with a know-it-all attitude. So, you need to be a constant learner yourself to keep yourself abreast with the latest things to be able to give fresh wisdom to the audience. Technology can be your greatest rival. All information is available online. So, what makes you and your content 'fresh' and 'new' is crucial. As far as speaking skills are concerned, you can join the nearest chapter of JCI India or Toastmasters or form your own speaking circle and give what it takes to become an exceptional speaker. Keep building your brand online. You need to announce your arrival. Maintain a record of all speaking engagements and appreciations and protect yourself from falling prey to 'Impostor Syndrome' by building your self esteem. There is a great need for authentic motivational speakers. Do your best and give yourself to this world. All the best! read less

Hi, Motivational SPEAKERS .... carry a special AURA & UNIQUENESS around them...that makes them an inspiration to others : Its in the following aspects : 1. You need to have REAL GENUINE PASSION & authenticity to BUILD/EMPOWER others. - Without genuinity and authenticity, you can simply appear like a person giving lecture with no one to hear... 2. You need to MASTER ... the combination of following WORDS - with Rhythmic, stressing at the right moment at right place. FACIAL EXPRESSIONS - synchronize with the words context and need. Voice - Tone and Speed - high and low , rhythmic wherever needed. 3. RELATE to the NEEDS/CONCERNS of them - And then take them to a HIGHER standard/ level of motivation - That will DRIVE their toal attention to you and you alone. - EMPATHY is most important firstly. Touch their hearts first through expressing empathy in your words and facial expressions. 4. Good to use following relevant references during motivating them - Famous proverbs by any eminent personalities. - Any relatable movie dialogues or references. - Poems related to the context. 5. ULTIMATELY .......... MASTER the ART of MOTIVATION by TELLING STORIES.... Stories really connect to people's hearts ..... Even that story doesn't exist anywhere, you BECOME CREATIVE and CREATE a NEW STORY based on your ideas and thoughts... & mesmerize them with all that YOU want to SHARE... And then .... CONCLUSION : It would be YOUR TURN ... To JUST WATCH the GAME ... of how people get motivated by your PERSONA and your WORDS... ALL THE BEST !!!!!!! read less

First and foremost is that everything starts from "within" !!! So to become a motivational speaker, first you have to be self-motivated. Next is about practical implementation. If you touch upon a topic, it shouldn't be like a 'preaching' exercise. People always look for someone who has already implemented and want to learn from him/her. Emphasis more on 'practice' than 'preaching' !!! For (e.g.) when you want to motivate someone to go for morning walk/yoga/meditation, first you should have already done it and people should have witnessed you. Because it is always 'Seeing is Believing' !!! Last, sustain what you have planned and implemented !!! It is not about spike, but about continuity what people look for !!! read less

To connect with your audience, look into their eyes and try to read their mind. Speak what you want but frame it the way they want. 3. The difference between delivering a speech and speaking lies in the way you frame your words. What is the point of saying something people might not be interested in listening! At times you need to come out of your frame in order to fit in to the scenario. So preparing your words might not help you every time, but do prepare your content. 4. Before you go ahead, be thorough with your topic. You should feel that you master it. 6. Be expressive! Hand gestures and eyes speak for you. 7. Take care of your body language. Be open! 8. Smile but not like a fool! 9. Be confident! 10. Interact with the audience by involving them in different questions occasionally. read less
