Being a trainer having conducted over a thousand training programs spanning over 20 years in the IT industry, have most often been asked a question "How do I remember?"
My answer, "DON'T REMEMBER"
The reason why you have been hired is not to remember things. If the company wanted you to remember things, we would buy hard disks. The hard disks come cheaper than the salary you are paid. Anything you are not comfortable at, search the Internet on a search engine of your choice, take a printout, put it in front of you, look it up 4 times, you may not need to see it the 5th time. Your brain is designed to remember things when it is repeated enough number of times. That number may be different for each of us. Maybe once for you. It may be 10 times for another. That is PERFECTLY FINE. You really do not have to worry about your not being able to remember.
Apply this to any area of your learning. Children need to remember tables/formulae. Use this approach.
Learning Chemistry, can't remember the symbols of the elements, Use this approach.
Learning Botany, can't remember the anatomy of the plant. Use this approach.
SUCCESS NEEDS DISCIPLINE. The default is FAILURE.
Best of Luck
