Since pretty much everything else has already been suggested, I advise you to watch English movies and television. By doing so will surely come across new words and at the same time, you will also learn how to use it. But the catch is that you should only watch what you find interesting. This will make it fun, and you will be eager to find out the meaning of the new word you just discovered. Moreover, listening to native speakers will slowly instil the language in your subconscious mind. For example, the term 'instil' I used in the last sentence just came out of my subconscious. I hope this helps.
