"I'm working as Assistant professor at Madras Christian College. I have flair for languages and when i decided to learn my seventh language, my first choice was Carlagan Academy. As a teacher, my expectations from a language learning Academy was higher. I took a French course and i could learn much faster compared to other languages. French For Beginners (A1 International Certification Prep)

"I had attempted doing the A1 course many years back from Alliance Franchise Kolkata, but did not complete it.Then during April 2018 I thought of attempting again but was wondering if I could get to do the same online ,instead of attending classes.This is when I came across Carlagan Academy, Chennai.On writing to them I was promptly given a demo and started my first 10 hours by the end of May2018. My teacher, Mr Rabbani is a very energetic and enthusiastic teacher. Here are a few things I would like to mention about Carlagan Academy: 1.The one to one classes helped me clarify a lot of areas which would be difficult in a classroom situation. 2.Flexibility of time and choosing a mutually convenient time slot was very helpful as one can schedule one's day in advance. 3.The in-depth learning of grammar gave a solid base , which I realized during the tenure of the course and later during the Delf A1 exam.Sir made sure I don't miss anything important before the exam, so we would have classes everyday a week before the exam. 4.I sincerely appreciate the involvement and helping me keep up my motivation throughout. 5.One can complete the course and sit for the exam within 40-50 hours of doing the course. I have done a couple of online courses earlier and I have always found them to cater to specific needs of the learner.I will definitely recommend Carlagan Academy to anyone aspiring to learn French online for their professional and student friendly approach. "I'm going to be honest with you. I didn't know anything in French except bonjour. When I joined Carlagan Academy, it was due to the sheer force of my mom to have some exposure before I started my 11th and 12th (I had taken French as a second language after completing my 10th). I went there expecting a boring session of grammar and phonetics. But I actually enjoyed the classes. And as the days past, I couldn't avoid those classes. My teachers were amazing at training me to know the nuances of the language without making it cumbersome. Rabani sir and Alka ma'am were just too good in that they were facilitators than teachers. They adopted novel and interesting tactics to make classes fun. Classes were not like classes, but an arena where students learnt from mistakes and matured in the language. We were not bench bound listeners, but were involved in that holistic process of acquiring the language And the fellow students......well if I could compare my batch to anything it would the English class in the movie 'English Vinglish'. It was comparable to an ice cream. At first everyone is frozen and hesitant to speak to each other, but towards the end we melted and became a really noisy batch. I don't have sufficient characters remaining to describe the amazing time I had in Carlagan Academy. To wrap it up the academy turned me from a zero to becoming a top scorer in the language. The lovely days, great friends and inspiring teachers. I will cherish my fond memories of the academy. "
