This course is open to 2nd-year professional BAMS students, PG students from Basic Principles, Ayurvedic teachers, and learners who want to understand Sharira sthana of Charaka. The intention of the course is to create awareness regarding the Indian system of knowledge, with a philosophical understanding of Sharirasthana. It's not easy to comprehend the applied aspect without having a basic understanding of Indian science.
The subject matters of the Sharira sthana are based on Sankhya darshana, Bouddha darshana, and Yoga darshana. So understanding Sharira sthana requires a good knowledge of these Philosophies.
The course covers topics like creation, human composition, understanding each body component's functions, Loka Purusha Samya siddhanta, embryo formation and growth, pregnancy care, child and mother care.
