BAMS Full Form is Bachelor of Ayurvedic, Medicine and Surgery. BAMS course is an UG level degree course to train students in the field of ayurveda and ayurvedic medicine. NCISM is the responsible body for admission to Ayurveda education at undergraduate as well as the postgraduate level and for practice Ayurvedic medicine in India. Bachelor of Ayurvedic, Medicine and Surgery can be abbreviated to BAMS or B.A.M.S.
BAMS Course duration is 5.5 years. BAMS Course subjects are divided into 4 professionals over the 5 years 6 months duration. The BAMS subjects include Padartha Vigyan And Ayurved Itihas, Dravyaguna Vigyan, Maulik Siddhant Avum Ashtang Hridaya, Charak Samhita, Rachana Sharir, Rasashastra and also uman anatomy, physiology, pathology & diagnostic procedures, principles of medicine, pharmacology, toxicology, forensic medicine, E.N.T etc.
