- This will be a trail class for bharatnatyam dance form.
- It is one amongst the 8 indian classical dance forms.
- In this trial class you will be taught how to hold the basic posture of this particular style.
- Adavus are the basic steps of this style.
- Once students are comfortable with the basic posture we can start with teaching of basic adavus in the same trial class.
- Due to holding onto the basic posture there must be a slight knee pain experienced after the session.
- We request you to not panic and follow the instructions for relaxation and then only leave the session.
- Students are requested to wear comfortable pants and kurti or kurtas for the class.
- Female students above the age group of 15 are suggested to tie dupattas .
- Kurtas / kurtis should be long till your knee level.
- People who use chappals or socks indoor are kindly requested to remove it before the session.
