2. German counting and numbers (eins ,zwei,drei….).
3.Basic Introduction (Guten tag. Mein name ist…)
4.German weekdays, seasons, months name, time.
5.Nouns: Gender, Plural, Nominative, Accusative, Dative.
5.Pronouns: personal pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, interrogative pronouns, and possessive pronouns (in accusative and dative), man, jemand, niemand the impersonal pronouns es, etwas, nichts.
6.Placing of verbs in a sentence (fist, second and last).
7.Verbs with prefixes-separable verbs and inseparable verbs.
8.Details of time, place and manner(casual).
9.Verbs: infinitive, imperative, indicative-präsens, perfekt, präteritum of auxiliary verbs and modal verbs (möchten, dürfen….).
10.Prepositions with Accusative and Dative.
11.Conjunctions: und, aber,oder,sondern,denn,dann
12.Modal particles: aber,auch,denn,doch,mal,nur
13.Negations: nicht ,kein ,nie
14.Special adverbs : gern,Lieber,am liebsten
After completion of the A1 course, the candidates will be able to understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences. Can introduce him/herself and others as well as ask others about themselves e.g. personal information or information about his/her family, shopping, work, immediate surroundings and can respond to questions of this nature. Can communicate in a simple manner if the person they are speaking to speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help. Can deal with few situations typically encountered when traveling in Germany.
