Non-Traditional Notions: In this section, you will learn about the threats and dangers outside military threats, threats to human existence, human Security and its primary goal, the rise of global threats like health epidemics, international terrorism, global warming, the rise in sea level and pollution.

India’s Security Strategy: In this section, you will learn about the challenges faced by India in the fields of both traditional(military attacks) and non-traditional threats and the four components generally carried out to deal with them. These include Strengthening its military capability, strengthening international norms and institutions to protects its own interests, adopting a democratic political system to tackle its own internal threats and conflicts, development of the economy in order to alleviate poverty has been discussed in this section.
