In this chapter, you’ll study linear inequalities in one and two variables. What is a linear inequality? Inequalities are a part and parcel when you’re working on algebra problems. A linear inequality is an inequality that consists of a linear function. It represents the data which is not equal in the graph form. A linear inequality is like a linear equation; the only difference is that the equality sign is replaced by the inequality sign.
