We should encourage our child and other family members to talk in the mother tongue.
Teach them about our culture and vocabulary, which can be helpful to them. Take them on a visit to our state's historic places teach them about our rich culture. Try to engage them into wonderfull stories and tell these stories in the mother tongue. Every kid loves stories, and they will develop interest through it.
