I received a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering for my undergraduate program and a Master’s degree in Chemical engineering from NIT Surat, Also a M.S. by Research degree from IIT Bombay. <br/>This engineering background may give me important advantages over other applicants. <br/>I also have the experience of working as teaching assistant in IIT,Bombay for two courses—Heat transfer and Experimental methods for analysis (for M.Tech students). This may enable me to contribute to deliver my technical, analytical, problem solving methods to this job. From working on projects and presenting the results, I developed good research skills and a better understanding of theory, as well as improving my confidence in public speaking. Apart from studying I have worked with PRAJ industries, Pune where I have worked for the software development of basic engineering of ethanol plant where I learned to achieve the goals within defined time limit. In the university, I also made a point to take part in many extracurricular activities, despite my busy class schedule. For example, I volunteered in the Student Affairs, where I planned various activities, and interacted with students from different departments and backgrounds. In addition, I served as a class representative for four years, coordinating and dealing with student’s problems and bridging the communication gap between administrators and the professors.
