Todays websites are quite complex and knowledge of full stack development is crucial. Selenium is a good tool for GUI testing. But for backend you would need to know something like cucumber.
Also you would need to read and understand BRDs, make test cases, run and record defects in tool like JIRA and CLICKUP.
