My name is Shivani and I am a teacher of Marathi subject. My BEd is in Marathi subject and I have been teaching Marathi subject in school for 1st to 5th students since last two years. Marathi is a widely spoken language in Maharashtra as it is the mother tongue of Maharashtra and as such is a subject. Some children find Marathi easy because it is their mother tongue and some children do not understand Marathi at all because their mother tongue is different so I try to teach Marathi in a very simple way so that they always remember Marathi, and I try to make Marathi easy because the subject is very Make it enjoyable so that children can enjoy it. And will not be bored. In Maharashtra, Marathi is taught compulsorily, so the students of Maharashtra have to learn Marathi as a subject. The reason for giving Marathi subjects to Maharashtra students is that Marathi is the mother tongue of Maharashtra but people living in Maharashtra also speak Marathi language. Therefore, the main objective is that any students of Maharashtra should understand Marathi language, and they should know about Maharashtra and also remember a new language in them. I teach children Marathi from the very basics like I start teaching from Marathi Alphabet. In this fast paced life, no one has time these days and no one is good at teaching. Actually, since this is a school subject, it becomes a paper. Some children understand Marathi but cannot write, and some children cannot speak Marathi. I try to solve such very basic basic problems.
