Covered all types of topics in writing section and i particularly appreciate extra classes taken at the weekend when my date of exam was approaching which shows his dedication for his work. I would advise students to practice reading and listening from day 1. And never submit your homework late because sometimes you might not get feedback and hence miss a chance to improve because tutor is very busy through the day. "The IELTS coaching delivered by Dr.Harshd Patel was useful and helpful to get a gauge of the exam and modalities of the exam. It was very interesting and fun learning IELTS sessions with Dr.Harshad. However, the timing of the session and cancellation of sessions were at times disappointing as they were done without any notice. The sessions could have packed with more practical scenarios to improve the effectiveness. "

Ashmar, this is totally uncalled for, especially when you know that I used to send you photographic evidence whenever there was failure of network, which even you would know that this is something that no tutor can control. So, obviously class would have got cancelled because of that. Also, other students that were in your batch (samira, ketan, gausiya and rajwinder) had understood this and hadn't complained about this trivial problem. What is even more sad is that you have waited 5 months after the completion of your classes to add this comment.

"I joined the crash course, for IELTS General Training. What I liked: 1- He shared good tips/techniques for reading & writing essays/letters. 2- The classes gave me discipline so i was able to focus on the exam prep. What I didn't like: 1- The main reason I joined the classes was, to know my current band score so I can improve upon the lagging areas. But I never got that, on any writing or voice recordings I shared for speaking. So I wont know my band until I get my IELTS scores from BC. Probably he doesn't share the same for crash course, no idea. But I feel its basic thing & it must be covered as I paid for it. I hope sir sees this and shares for future students. 2- There is no course structure, simply each day of the week is for a different topic(Speaking, reading(2 days), writing, listening) , so you will not know what was covered and what was missed until the last date of the course. Speaking Part 2 and speaking part 3 was never covered for me. Thankfully youtube to the rescue. Sir hopefully sees this and shares a course catalogue for each student so they are able to track what is supposed to be covered in the course, and track the same. "

I find this hard to absorb, especially when you had missed 9 of your allocated classes. I further find it difficult to understand all this, especially when I clearly tell all students, including you where I mentioned at the beginning of classes that if you have any issues, then you raise them immediately. Obviously, you failed to do this and then compiling one sided story. Anil, one more thing, 99% of the students have so far been happy with their outcome, but I understand that there will always be very few who will always raise issues no matter how they are taught.

"Although Dr Harshad is well intentioned, I feel that he enrols too many students at the same time. He sometimes forgets that there are many general IELTS students in the class as well. All the reading tutorials that he conducted with me were related to Academics, which is great for someone who is taking IELTS academics. But for a general training candidate, it is a waste of time. Also he has not provided me feedback with even one letter or essay. I contacted him four times in regards of this. Again this happens when you enroll too many students. Finally i gave up on his classes since i could find no relevant training for a general ielts candidate. If you are going for IELTS academics, He is okay. Also you don't need a great score to qualify. But if you are going for IELTS general training, please avoid him. I hope Dr Harshad sees this as positive criticism and learns to segregate students on basis of their intention to give IELTS. "

Funny, you feel this way, when you are one in a hundred who feels this way. You state your position without questioning why most students perform very well. Seems that you never understood the concept of what what was taught in the class, and secondly what do you mean by too many students in the class, when you jolly well know that in your specific batch there were maximum 8 students, Is that too many for batch, when you consider that there are hundreds who have batch size in excess of 20. Really you should have opted for personal classes with a tutor instead of batch, as your expectations somehow overwhelm the tutors in general. In addition, if you had followed the steps to hand in your homework when set, then you would not have been in a position to question things. Also, if you had noted, that each part of reading that was taught was a strategy for specific question type, and you would have also noted that General IELTS were sent to you for revision. You also missed the letter and Essay writing skills, so how can you say, that i never responded to your messages. I agree that you had sent me ONE message regarding feedback of the 24th March, a few days before your exams, so kindly tell me "how you could state that you sent me multiple messages?" Finally, since majority of my students do well in their performance, i really don't think I should change anything to jeopordise their performance.
