The best way is to read a lot and also learn to use the words in own sentences as and when you come across. Word Power made easy by Norman Lewis is a good book to refer. In general my mantra, is read a lot and use the dictionary and thesaurus as much as you can. These days, with access to internet, looking up a word for its meaning and synonyms is very easy. read less
