With over 3 years of experience in teaching Western vocals, I’ve had the opportunity to work with 100+ students across all age groups and skill levels—from absolute beginners to advanced singers. I specialize in genres like pop, jazz, soul, R&B, K-pop, and musical theatre, incorporating both technical training and artistic expression. Currently, I teach one-on-one vocal classes at Artium Academy, founded by Sonu Nigam, where I guide learners from across the globe. My teaching is rooted in a structured yet personalized approach, blending globally recognized syllabi like Trinity College London and ABRSM with custom techniques based on each student’s needs. Each class focuses on vocal health, breathwork, tone control, range-building, and performance skills, supported by practical music theory and expressive tools like stage presence and storytelling. I use Google Classroom to organize progress, materials, and assignments. Monthly assessments ensure we track the student’s growth and adapt the learning path accordingly. I believe in making learning joyful and holistic—nurturing not just singers but confident, expressive artists. My background as an indie singer-songwriter and KM Music Conservatory alum adds a real-world edge to the classroom, making every session both educational and creatively fulfilling.
