"He's an amazing teacher who made difficult concepts in Physics very, very simple for us! He always made effective use of the study material by using video lectures which were very helpful. He used to take short tests on a unit, when completed, to make sure we revised from time to time. "

"Arun Jain Sir had definitely been one of my favorite professors. Not only he has a great command on the subject, but the way he teaches and makes you think can make any layman develop a great interest in Physics. He always focuses on basics, and he makes sure you get it thorough conceptually. Its been 12 years now, and I can still remember many of the concepts that he has taught me. Its really incredible. Another great thing about him is, no matter how hard the subject is, he will always be positive about it and approach it as if its a piece of cake, and we as students can feel it too. He is a very fun loving person and his class is never boring. "

"Prof. Jain is a rare breed in the JEE coaching class industry. He's not someone who will ever tell you to or make you rote learn. He's not someone who will tell you how to game the MCQ system to maximise marks. He won't tell you that it is necessary to get into IIT. What he does is to make you love Physics, and learn it better than you ever thought you could. I attribute a large part of my success in JEE-2015 (AIR 442) to Prof. Arun Jain, and will always be thankful. "
Swarangi Kale

Lakshaya Singhal
"Arun Sir is an amazing teacher/mentor/educator/motivator. We have had him as our physics teacher for about a year and never have his lectures bored me the slightest bit. His methods of teaching make topics extremely easy to understand. He gives ample of questions so that the concepts are clear and he always makes sure we don't have any doubts. His notes are really good as well. He knows his students very well and he always keep motivating us. I highly recommend him. "
Siddharth Warrier
"One of the best physics teachers. Ever, I liked physics since childhood,but wasn't pretty good at it. It was mainly because of lack of conceptual clearance.But in 11th std, Arun Sir came to teach us physics for our coaching. I was amazed at the ease with what I was solving physics problems when Arun Sir taught us. Arun Sir cleared my notion of physics being a complicated and difficult subject. He shares his own life experiences with us while teaching,which makes the subject even more interesting. He is one of the best teachers I have met in my life. "
Answered on 20/10/2019 Learn CBSE/Class 12/Science/Physics/Unit 1-Electrostatics/ELECTROSTATIC POTENTIAL AND CAPACITANCE/NCERT Solutions/Exercise 2
V=kQ/r
Potential is a scalar. The points with zero potential will always be closer to the charge of smaller magnitude. There will be two points on the line joining the two charges, one in between the two charges and one on the extended line closer to the smaller charge.
kQ1/x + kQ2/(16-x)=0 will give 10 cm from positive charge.
kQ1/(16+x) + kQ2/(16-x)=0 will give 40 cm from positive charge.
Substitute charges with the sign.
