"The most important things you ever taught me weren't the lessons about the class material, but the lessons about life that you taught. You have been a great mentor and role model for me.If all teachers were like you, there would be “no child left behind.”I was going through a rough time and I wasn't sure I would make it, but you showed me that I am important and you helped me get through the tough time. Thank you for being supportive when I needed support. You taught me how much I am capable of and what I could achieve if I was willing to put the effort in. This is a lesson I am using in so many areas of my life now and it is helping me to achieve all sorts of targets I never thought were within my reach. Thank you for making me do my best and for never giving up. "

V=kQ/r
Potential is a scalar. The points with zero potential will always be closer to the charge of smaller magnitude. There will be two points on the line joining the two charges, one in between the two charges and one on the extended line closer to the smaller charge.
kQ1/x + kQ2/(16-x)=0 will give 10 cm from positive charge.
kQ1/(16+x) + kQ2/(16-x)=0 will give 40 cm from positive charge.
Substitute charges with the sign.
