M.Sc Microbiology has good career options other than research including the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sectors, Insurance and sectors related to environmental sciences. There is also good scope in teaching sector with necessary additional certifications as required by the Institutions/Organisations. Many bio labs (private and government) also hire Microbiologists for several positions.
