As everything has its own pros and cons being an art and craft teacher i will say few disadvantages of it.
1. It needs creative mind. If you cannot imagine you will not be good in art and craft. Yes it demands creativity and if you don't like to be creative then its a disadvantage.
2. It creates lots of mess. Wastage is a by product which equally harms environment.
