I am planning to put my 3 years old in Maharashtra board school. I have a fear that only icse or cbse students can crack all competitive exams like medical, engineering etc. Is this true? "kindly let me what will be best as I am very confused

You can select any board but for entrance point of view you have to do self study apart from college and tuition 8 hrs at least you will crack any entrance definitely either MH-CET or NEET.

It is not true. In fact, there is not much difference between the curricular of CBSE/ISC and HSC. Whether or not a student makes the cut at a competitive examination depends entirely on her aptitude and hardwork.

It is not exactly so. First you compare the syllabus of Maharastra board and CBSE. As per my knowledge since last two years syllabus of all state boards is at par with CBSE.
