In MBBS you study subjects like human anatomy,human physiology, pathology, microbiology, pediatrics,gynae and obs,surgery, medicine etc many more subjects especially in english language, whereas in BAMS you also study various modern subjects in english same like MBBS except microbiology etc but also in addition 'SAMHITAS' for AYURVEDIC knowledge like 'CHARAK SAMHITA', 'SUSHRUTA SAMHITA' ,'VAGBHATT SAMHITA'etc in Sanskrit and it's Hindi commentry.

Even exam pattern includes answering knowledge of both modern principles and treatment as well as ayurvedic principles and treatment.
