Great move. Manual Testing never dies. But good to have both the skills to succeed in the long term. Repeated tasks like "Regression Testing" needs to be automated to reduce testing time. Tools having recording option is easy to start with if you are new to programming example: QTP/UFT, Katalon, Selenium IDE. Learning any programming language like Java, C#, python, java helps to master Test automation.
