The teaching experience of English for 17 years for 2 PUC (Pre-University Course) and 12 CBSE (Central Board of SecondaryEducation) students has been an enriching and rewarding journey. Over the course of these 17 years, I have had the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of proficiency in the English language. Initially, when I started teaching EnglishEducation) students has been highly rewarding and enriching. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching English to numerous students at the 2 PUC and 12 CBSE levels. One of the most fulfilling aspects of this experience is witnessing the growth and progress of my students. I have witnessed them evolve from hesitant and uncertain individuals to confident speakers and writers of English. This transformation is a result of both their hard work and dedication, as well as my continuous efforts to provide them with a conducive and engaging learning environment. In my teaching approach, I believe in creating a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I ensure that my lessons are interactive and inclusive, allowing students to actively participate and engage with the subject matter. This not only helps in developing their language skills but also fosters critical and analytical thinking. To cater to the diverse needs of my students, I employ a variety of teaching techniques and resources. These include audio-visual aids, multimedia presentations, group discussions, role-plays, and debates. By incorporating these methods, I aim to make the learning process more accessible and enjoyable for my students. Additionally, I focus on enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. I assign regular assignments, essays, and comprehension tasks to improve their comprehension and written expression. Furthermore, I encourage them to engage in discussions and debates to hone their verbal communication skills. Apart from classroom teaching, I also provide individualized attention to students who require extra support. I make myself available for one-on-one sessions to address their specific concerns and offer guidance on improving their language proficiency. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to teach students preparing for board exams. I am well-versed with the syllabus and examination patterns, which allows me to provide targeted guidance and strategies for exam preparation. This has helped my students achieve excellent results in their English examinations. Overall, my 17 years of teaching English to 2 PUC and 12 CBSE students has been a fulfilling journey. Seeing my students succeed and develop a love for the language has always been my biggest motivation. I look forward to continued growth and learning as an educator in the years to come.
