We also performed a mime where students portrayed 'animal welfare' which earned them accolades. I love teaching and applied for a job as a teacher in the school I studied in. I have taught students from std 3 to std 12. It is the interaction and the variety I can bring to everyday teaching that pushes me to become a better teacher. A relaxed environment is created between me and the student, helping us to interact well with each other. I bring out everyday life and examples from all around us that can really help the student connect with the topic being taught. I love teaching english the most as it brings out the best in me. I have taught students with special needs and it has helped me realize how much I should go down to the student's level to make them understand. I have successfully encouraged and made below average and average students score 5-10 marks more in each of their exams as well as helped the rank holding students hold their position. When in school I had the facility to use the 'Teach Next' a special mechanism which helps students visually see the examples I quote. Especially for subjects such as Maths, History and Geography, this technology has greatly served its purpose. Along with the 'Teach Next' I also arranged for practical learning sessions for students where they set up food stalls, walk around the campus identifying the types of trees, play-way methods and through hand gestures. Each student is different and special and my experience has taught me that it is because of such students that teachers like me are yearning to learn and better ourselves each day.

I have completed my Preliminary in Business English Certificate (BEC) affiliated to the University of Cambridge with an aggregate of 85%. English language teaching requires patience, preparation and practice. As a student I faced difficulties in clearing doubts but as a teacher I am hoping to make my students' experience something to remember.
