"Maya Angelou once said "Music was my refuse, I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness" I took this refuse 3 months back when I came back to Lucknow from Mumbai to rediscover my passion for music which I kind of lost in the process of becoming a doctor. I am a cancer specialist working at Tata memorial hospital Mumbai. In June 2016 I decided to take break from my professional life and to explore the life in a different way. I joined a guitar class but could not continue for more than 2 days, my teacher was expecting me to play 'D' chord with a nice strumming pattern on the day 2 itself. I got so frustrated that I could not touch my guitar for another 2 weeks. Meanwhile I came to know about Saim A. Khan. I don't know it was my sixth sense or what but I decided to give him a call even though he was relatively expensive and located 12 km from my place, but today I am glad I made that call. We started from a scratch and gradually over a period of 2 months I learnt about the basics of guitar viz.chords, chord progression, barre chords etc. More importantly i regained my passion for music. I thank him for making my short journey to understand guitar a wonderful experience. "

"The first time I picked up a guitar in my entire life was a month ago, when I purchased one for myself with an intention to learn it. I knew neither the night nor the day about it, and I had not imagined that within a month, I would be knowing everything that is there to know about a guitar. And all the credit for this goes to Mr. Saim A. Khan. He taught me everything about a guitar in just 12 classes! Amazing guy, as a trainer as well as a person. Not for once did I feel that the sessions were becoming monotonous. The sessions are filled with fun, practice and loads of chatting with each other. It is a pleasure knowing him and an absolute privilege learning from him. I found in him a really good friend, and an even better teacher, who made learning guitar look like a bed of roses. "

"28 years of life: completing MBBS, cracking UPSC civil services and then owning a guitar for last two years thinking that God's delays are not God's denials and then I got the opportunity after getting posted in lucknow to meet the great Saim A Khan ...I met him for a demo class and when he said it will take 24 classes and 2 months ...I was like how is it possible??....Guess What..!!!..It took me only 12 classes to start playing a song on my own :)....The sessions continue to be engaging with lot of chatting and discussions and guitar is something that has happened along the way...found a true friend and a teacher who is inspiring, encouraging, motivating etc....etc.... :P ....Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for changing his life for good Regards! "

"I never knew I could play a guitar until I learnt from Saim. His guitar lessons are organised, structured and easy to learn. He explains the basic knowledge of music like scale,notes,octaves,rhythm etc along with the guitar specifics. Every explanation is simple and specific which make the lessons quick to comprehend. When I joined the classes I knew nothing about music but today I have learnt and acquired an ear to understand music and play the guitar. The classes were a fun, easy and amazing journey of learning music and THE GUITAR. "

"This was my fourth attempt at learning the guitar and i wish it had been my first! Would have definitely been a great guitarist till now. But better late than never. What makes Saim sir different from the other teachers is that he doesn't teach it for the sake of teaching it. Guitar is his passion which you get to know even when you speak to him for the first time on the phone. He makes you comfortable right from the word go. And when you meet him, you suddenly realize that guitar is no more that distant dream. Apart from the guitar, its the air of positivism around him which is very infectious. He'll not only be your guitar teacher but also a friend, guide and motivator. To sum it up, he's probably the best guitar instructor in town! "

"The dearth of good Guitar teachers has always been a problem for lucknowites but fortunately the drought seems to end with someone talented like Mr.Saim taking up responsibility.Guys all I can say is that if you want to understand Guitar and mesmerize in it this is the person who can make it happen in Lucknow with all positive energy and productive classes. "Mr. Saim Khan is a musician and a human par excellence! I feel he is someone who is keen to produce highly skilled guitarists in which ever city he has lived or performed whether in India or abroad. His expertise in designing,developing and implementing a learning system for budding guitarists is very unique and has been carefully designed by him as per the learner's need and expertise. This differentiates him from any other guitar teacher in the city. His focused, humble and stress free approach towards learning to play a difficult musical instrument like guitar was something which inspired and motivated me.I have seen the approach of quite a few music teachers and I feel that he is simply the best and I'm sure under his guidance and with daily practice, anyone can learn to play guitar like a professional. "Most of the internet material would help you learn guitar starting from the chords , and probably some other very basic info. So if your intention is to be able to play few songs now and then online material is suffice for you. However, should you want to understand and then apply it into learning how to play guitar, he’s your man. This guy knows his guitar in and out. During the class, he would observe me very closely, and help me rectify my mistakes. At the same time , he doesn’t miss on appreciating my efforts as well. Within a very short span of time , Saim has provided me with a strong foundation. I think I have the confidence now, that if I continue practising as per the ways he has taught, I should be able to soon learn the guitar. At the end of every lesson , I would realize that I have come to know a lot about convenient ways of how to get the chords right. The home-works he used to give were very helpful. He is a self taught guitarist and his ways of teaching are quite different. But the best part is, if you listen to him carefully, it would be difficult to ‘unlearn’ what you have learnt from him. He loves music and teaches for the love of it. So, unless you really want to learn guitar, kindly don’t bother time. "
