O level is 1 year Diploma course conducted by NIELIT (Under Ministry of Information Technology). Most of new Grade B and C jobs in Central government and State Government have added this to their eligibility criteria so without this diploma one can not apply for these jobs.
Admission are open for Jan 2020 exams. we have both morning and evening batches where 2 hour classes are conducted from Monday to Saturday. Classes have both theory and practical sessions.
O level has four theory papers, one practical exam and one project.
Four theory papers are.
1. I T Tools
2. IWD
3. C Programming
4. I T C Resources
Exams are on semester system basis and are conducted in Jan and July each year. Before one can appear in exam he has to register for course which has a cutoff date both for January registration and July registration.
Examination is conducted offline using paper and pen. Question paper is divided into Part A and Part B. Part A is objective type and Part B is subjective. Achieving min 50 % in both is mandatory.
Grades assigned are S A B C D AND F where F is failed. Diploma certificate and marksheets are provided online and are available after 2 months of examination.
