Since you have the challenge to adjust time and energy for CAT preparedness, while being inside a job, its advisable to start as early, say 10-12 months before the exam. More so, with eligibility criteria of four-year work-exp, of which still two more years to go, it wud not be a bad idea to start now if even if means going slow but steady. Can pick the pace as you inch closer to the exam date.
Network with your senior/s or folks in your social circle who have cleared the exam most recently. It will get you a feel of the kind of merit the selectors are keen to find in candidates, which helps you to create a strategy to prepare and one that suits you.
