Vikas Gour

It's very important to understand the process of making decisions. We spoil our years and lot of happiness just because of some of our bad decisions. Most of time we take decisions Spontaneously. A tendency to make decisions in an impulsive way. Our whole decision-making process is mostly based on intuition and without reasoning.

Decision making is linked to planning, organizing, directing and controlling functions. Decision making is important to achieve the goals/objectives within given time and budget.

When our any thought or idea does not match with our BASELINES then we don't have any control over the decision thus the action taken becomes unmatched and we get questionable results.

When our thoughts or any idea matches and get filtered with our BASELINES then mind generates great decisions and controlled action are taken and results are more desirable.

5 Steps to Good Decision Making

  • Step 1: Recognize Your Goal. One of the most effective decision-making strategies is to keep an eye on your goal. (The goal must be aligned with your thoughts and actions)
  • Step 2: Collect Information for Weighing Your Options.
  • Step 3: Consider the Consequences.
  • Step 4: Make Your Decision.
  • Step 5: Evaluate Your Decision.
