Cloud has certain advanates ( ofcourse there are cons as well ) for Small and Medium Enterprises, most importantly the SMB clients will look at Cost controlls which  is why Cloud is an apt choice to contain their enterprise Solution software costs at a reasonable level  yet which comes with lot of benefits like New UI experience, HANA DB capabilities like Inmemory computing, Multi tenant support, Dynamic tiering etc

All in all whether to go for a cloud or on premise is a choice

Sorry, we cannot compare between Apple, Orange, as Basis being an Admin module, MM being a Functional moduleand BI being an Analytical platform

Every stream has it's own  importance and lucrative benefits as well

If you have Functional domain experience in Purchases/ Inventory side you may go ahead with SAP MM module, if you have an idea and some hands on ETL process flow please opt BI

SLOG-Simple Logsitics will have all the Supply chain components like SD,MM,PP/PS/PM  with enhanced features

SAP has introduced S/4 HANA 1809 with lot of  enhanced features, Fiori apps to support Enterprise solutions

In a nut-shell One can continue with the Delta/enhanced features and Fiori approach majorly
