To be honest, I had only prepared for the drawing part and had a 10 day preparation for maths and aptitude.
I scored 72 in maths and aptitude and only 22 in part b, i.e a total of 94.
I am quite disappointed with my drawing score because I was expecting atleast 50.

Using different types of drawing pencils or pens offers various benefits in artwork. For example, different pencils provide a range of tones, from light to dark, allowing artists to create depth and contrast in their drawings. Thicker pencils like charcoal or pastel pencils can produce bolder lines and textures, while finer pencils like mechanical or fine liners are great for intricate details. By using a variety of drawing tools, artists can achieve different effects, textures, and styles in their artwork, making their creations more dynamic and visually interesting.

Drawing pencils and colored pencils serve different purposes in artwork. Drawing pencils, like the ones you use for sketching and shading, typically have graphite leads that produce varying shades of gray or black. They are great for creating detailed line work, shading, and realistic drawings.
On the other hand, colored pencils contain pigment cores that come in a wide range of colors. These pencils are perfect for adding color to your artwork, whether it's simple coloring or intricate details. Colored pencils allow for layering and blending to create rich, vibrant hues and textures in your drawings.
So, while drawing pencils are mainly used for monochromatic artwork and shading, colored pencils offer a rainbow of colors to bring your creations to life with beautiful and vivid tones.

For sharpening drawing pencils, it's typically best to use a sharpener specifically designed for art pencils. These sharpeners are designed to handle the softer lead of drawing pencils without causing breakage. Using a sharpener ensures a more controlled and precise sharpening process, resulting in a sharp point perfect for detailed artwork and shading.
