Besides learning a foreign language you must be good at technical skills as well and acquire all the skills required for the job and then concentrate on the language.basics will just help you to communicate and later on you can learn it to full extent to survive.hope this might be helpful??

Hello, Having a foreign language certificate not only adds to your CV and gives you an edge in comparision to other applicants, it also gives you a perspective about the socio-cultural aspect of that country which helps you interact and deal with professionals of that country. Learning only the basic level just shows that you have some interest in working with international companies , also the skills learnt are not too great at basic levels. Having said that every one begins at basic level and as and when the interest in the language and horizon of professional opportunities increase people give more effort and learn the advanced levels so as to work in a foriegn system and move and settle in that country in future.

Translator Jobs are very easy to find online, one can do them side by side as a freelancer while learning advanced levels.

Hi Vishal,

It depends upon your qualification and experience. Language will only help you to reduce your communication gap. If your experience is good than learning a language will certainly help you to get a job at abroad. And if you are willing to do some translator job or in BPO its required atleast expert or more than intermediate level.

Hope I could answer your question.

Best Regards

There are many idioms, phrases and quotes on shoes. "It isn't the mountain ahead that wears you out; it's the grain of sand in your shoe" "A woman carries her clothes. But the shoe carries the woman" Can You Share an interesting shoe-incident in your life or an idiom or a phrase? A shoe anecdote: I had to trek bare-footed to my school till my school final. Three kilometers from my house to a Railway station, then travel by train, and finally from there to school by walk along the railway track. Once my neighbour's son of my age bought a pair of new branded shoes. It didn't fit him, the shoe that fits one person pinches another. One fine morning his mother told me to try it out and it neither pinched or bit me. I was very happy to get into my neighbour's shoes. She told me that she would take her son's permission and offer it to me. The permission was granted and the message was passed on to my mother. I used to visit her house daily thinking that she would tell me to take it. To my bad luck she forgot the mega offer to me. My ego didn't permit me to ask her. Crying baby gets the milk. I didn’t cry, It went on for one year. The shoe gathered dust and finally disappeared, might be to a dust-bin. I bought variety of imported shoes once I started earning. But that Longing of my neighbour's shoes, which fitted me without any pinch, still PINCHES me. No state of the art shoes would replace that longing.
