I started teaching when I was a student of Computer Science in Calcutta University, by tutoring my cousin brother and his friends on C, Data Structures, Java etc. After passing out I joined Wipro Technologies in Bangalore, but my passion for teaching remained and I assisted a couple of my neighbours (students of Engineering Colleges) with their project works. After working for nine years in the Industry (Wipro, Flextronics, IBM and Infosys) I decided to pursue my career as a professional teacher and joined the Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. I have spent nearly seven years in IEM and have loved interactig with my students here, most of whom have made a name for themselves in Academia or Industry. In 2012, I received the Best Teacher in CSE award from IEM and Mentor award from IBM, as recognition of my contribution as a teacher. Teaching remains my passion, and I hope to interact with many more bright young minds in future.
