IdentityAs a teacher I have been part of various curriculums so it was possible for me to have an
interdisciplinary as well as inter-curriculum approach. As an Educator my motivation comes from being an integral part of the student’s life. I feel that it is important to stress on the individual needs of the students as much as we can within the restrictions of the classroom space. I try to ensure that the curriculum identifies the specific needs of a student so that a student can respond to the curriculum in terms of their own areas of interest and construct their own meanings.
I have been working as an Academic Coordinator in Vidyanjali International School. My role involves administrative responsibilities along with overlooking the academic curriculum. I have been conducting Communicative English Classes for foreign students at Gems Akademia International School. I was an exchange student at the Department of History, Uppsala University ( Sweden) for theJanuary to June semester 2011. I also completed the Cambridge University course Programme leader For the
Cambridge InternationalCertificate in Teaching and Learning. Currently I am pursuing my Ph.D in West African history.
