"We stay in the same apartment and had been enjoying her singing in community programmes. Her education in music from Shantiniketan along with her soft and melodious voice makes her performances at very high level. When I joined her music classes as a non-singer and with no former training or idea about music, I was not sure on whether I will be able to learn. But her style of teaching and making the classes interesting through songs is unique. She has great patience which works with beginners.Today me and my daughter are taking her classes. I am really happy to see my daughter sing. She used to be shy and soft spoken but the singing classes from Mrs. Shilpi is helping her a lot. "

"I started learning Hindustani Classical Music with Shilpi Madam in Jan-2018. I am 40+ years old and was quite apprehensive if I would be able to learn anything, considering my age and my busy work schedule. I have been learning the basics of Hindustani Classical Music and must say that I am making good progress - thanks for the excellent way in which she teaches. The Best part of her teaching style is that she is very innovative and flexible in the way she teaches. That's the reason she can impart Musical Training to Students of all age groups - Children as well as Adults. She uses modern Technology for training and adjusts her training style as per needs of each individual students. She has done Masters in Music from VIshwa Bharati University (Santiniketan) and is an accomplished Singer herself. She is equally versatile in Radindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti and Hindustani Classical Music. "

"I am 43 years old and started learning Hindustani Music from Shilpi Madam in January-2018. I was quite apprehensive if I would be able to make any headway in music as started learning at an older age but the simple and innovative approach of the teacher has made me learn the basics of Music quite easily. Shilpi Madam has a unique and innovative style of teaching and she does not stick to a particular formula or style. She adjusts and finds ways to train as per the requirement or limitations of individual students. She uses modern technology as well which makes learning easier.
