IdentityI have studied English all my life as my first language in school, graduation, and post-graduation. I have recently completed the CELTA from IH Bangkok. I am confident that I would make an excellent addition to your teaching team because of my passion for helping students, my teaching and cultural experiences, and my CELTA qualifications.
I have taught as a part-time English teacher for 6 years in India's biggest national open university IGNOU. Currently, I am teaching conversational English online as a freelancer.
I'm equipped with the Communicative Teaching Method. I would love to apply this method in the classroom through interactive, student-centered activities that maximize student talk time. I scaffold my lessons so that they include pair and group work, as well as moving around the classroom. I wish to engage students in speaking, grammar, writing, listening, and reading and appealing to diverse learning styles which will help them improve their accuracy and fluency across key skill areas.
I understand the difficulty of learning a new foreign language and I believe it is of utmost importance to teach English scientifically which I believe I am very equipped with.
