I have had a varied and multicultural experience, both in India and abroad, rich in substance and experience. I was born in Kenya, while my formative years were spent in the US and Finland). I studied at St Xavier's Collegiate School, La Martiniere for Boys, thereafter going abroad to garner degrees in the U.S. (Randolph Macon College, USA Dual BA. Hons), Japan (University of Nagoya, Economics, Japanese Area Studies,) and India (IIM Bangalore, PGDM) , I have over 14 years of work experience (more if you count work-study programmes and internships) US, England, Spain and Japan, Singapore and India. T I have a different font of international corporate and teaching experience from various sectors such as banking, derivative trading, petroleum and consulting roles. I am finishing my PhD in Corporate Strategy, with my guide being Dr Sajal Dasgupta (ex AICTE Director, present VC at UEM).
I returned to India a few years ago to Mumbai, and though I have an active consulting role in the petrochemical and ethanol fields, I have taken time to teach at various educational institutions. Interacting and teaching is a joy like no other. Over the last few years, I have taught at Bengal Insititute of Business Studies, Jyotirmoy School of Business, IITrade and GD PI Training for CAT and Banking students. I take immense pride in my teaching abilities, having done university teaching roles both as a guest lecturer in various institutes, Teaching Assistant roles at University Level and as an Associate Professor in the private sector over the last few years.
It was my lifelong dream to become a full Professor, though I have only recently started my PhD.
I attained full marks in TOEFL, pretty high scores in the SAT (1490/1600), and had given the GRE(730/800) to continue my studies to achieve a PhD. I had a CAT percentile of 99.98 and graduated from IIM Bangalore. I have been head of Placements at several institutes and am confident in getting even the most of humble students jobs of their calibre.
