Teaching Experience in detail in Guitar Classes
Teaching and music are two of the things which I accidentally inherited from my family. As of 2020, I have been playing the guitar for nearly 14 years and teaching music/guitar for more than 7 years. As for my musical qualifications, due to popular demand of my patrons, I have recently taken to grade exams. I have qualified my Grade 6 from London College of Music this year with distinction and probably by the end of 2021, I'll complete my Grade 8. As not all sizes fit everyone, it is an injustice to push everyone into the same curriculum. I have always been interested in pushing and guiding my students in realizing their own musical aspirations. I teach the bare minimum that you need to play most techniques on the guitar then I delve into what you wish to learn. This method to be extremely fruitful and effective for most guitarists no matter where you are in your musical journey. When I am not teaching, I am mostly composing, writing songs and recording them. You can also learn from my singer-songwriter side if you are interested in that sort of thing too. I also enjoy travelling, reading books and cycling.

"I have only attended a few of the classes. What i can say is, Javed has been very patient and has made the classes engaging enough not only through music but good communication as well, which i feel is very important. Also, he gives homework and sees to it, that effort has been made from the other side too. "

"It has been a great experience with Javed sir. He teaches is such a way which makes me love music and guitar even more. Sir has a good sense of humor and uses that in his classes to give a break in it and remove the monotonous feeling. I would love to prefer him to my friend who also wants to learn guitar and is a beginner. "

"The experience was an eye-opener for a novice like me which was filled with fun and meticulousness in terms of approach. It seemed like anyone can learn to play the guitar with a bit of practice and patience. The variety of approach in methodology, individual attention and amiable and jocular learning atmosphere were the added perks of it. "

"The most complete and fun teacher available out there. Hard to find one these days. Whether it's the basics or downright 12 bar blues, he knows how to impart knowledge overall. And also the classes are never boring. "

Strumming can be challenging for beginners because it demands you to anticipate the next beat, which is the standard process for musicians to maintain time while playing/singing. I recommend students to first understand the pulse before getting into counting beats. Once that's done, clap out different rhythmic phrases and while playing also count the beats where you aren't strumming.
