"My bonding with my chemistry teacher in FIITJEE was not good so I decided to take additional classes for chemistry from Dipankar Sir. I instantly regretted the decision and left his classes within 6 months. No matter how many questions i solved correctly , even if i got near full marks in a mock test he'd somehow find a way to demotivate me and psychologically drain me. He would also get physical and throw his book at me and ab*se me. I have now secured 99.2 percentile in jee mains January attempt and i can confidently say id have had to take a drop if i continued under his 'guidance ' for a single day longer. His teaching methods are terrible , he'd just read from the book and make me solve sums on my own and demotivate me when i made mistakes. After one class i was so mentally drained that i told my parents i would not study under him and thankfully they listened after heavy persuading. When my mother requested him to motivate me and say encouraging things , he said mean things like ' A student like him will be lucky to get even 80%ile , he should already prepare for a drop.' Any student who willfully chooses Dipankar Das as his mentor is wasting his money, time , effort and damaging his mental health. Such a shame that 'teachers' like him are considered credible and parents and aspirants look upto such 'teachers' for guidance and mentorship! "
