I am an Electronics Engineer and MBA in Finance. I have worked for offshore development companies and have worked with clients in US, Europe, Middle East and India. My total experience is 10 years and have been aligned to academics for the last 3 years. Teaching for me is more about passion than career. What is more interesting is if you can align your passion with your career, so have slowly aligned myself to Academics. I am currently associated with B school as a academician and take some assignments off the shelf. The important thing about teaching according to me is to relate the concepts with real life examples and thus students understand them well. They don't need to cram or rote definitions (well sometimes we don't have a option). Based on my experience what I find is students find this approach interesting and easy to learn. Having said that there are no shortcuts to success and one needs to put his/her efforts. We are just navigators, we can tell them what is the easier way of doing things but at the end, students need to put efforts from their side for best results. I am comfortable with most of the web technologies for screen share. Skype is most common.
