You can do online teaching via Google Meet, Skype or Zoom. Using a white board is not mandatory, but the use of Microsoft whiteboard and PowerPoint presentations will lead to effective teaching.

       2X-3Y+6=0...............(1)   and

       4Y-5X-8=0.................(2)

     a)   mean of X and mean of Y lies at the intersection of both the lines of regression equations.

Solving these two equations,

(1) x5  + (2)x 2 gives,

X=0, and Y=2

Thus, the mean of X=0  and mean of Y =2

 

b)  From (1), Y=2/3 X + 2

              byx   =2/3

From (2), X =4/5 Y - 8/5

             bxy  = 4/5

r2 = byx   .bxy

   =2/3  x 4/5

  =8/15

so, r= 0.73, the correlation coefficient between X and Y

r is positive, since bxy  and byx are positive.
