I have been on an incredible journey as an educator over the past three years. I hold degrees in BCOM and B.ED, allowing me to learn and impart knowledge to others. I am thrilled to share my experiences in this first-person narrative. My teaching career began at Saint Paul School, where I worked for two years. I honed my teaching skills and developed a deep connection with my students during my time there. Witnessing their growth and progress brought immense joy to my heart, and I strived to make each class engaging and enriching.
After my stint at Saint Paul School, I decided to take a leap and venture into private tutoring. Teaching through one-on-one sessions was a different yet equally rewarding experience. I taught various subjects and grade levels from grades first to twelfth. I covered all subjects for primary classes (first to fifth), while for the higher grades (sixth to twelfth), I focused on English for both CBSE and IB boards.
One of my most treasured qualities as a teacher is my dedication to interactive teaching methods. Learning should be fun and immersive, and I utilise various tools to achieve this goal. My go-to teaching aids include interactive PowerPoint presentations, which keep my students engaged and encourage participation. I understand the importance of regular assessments to gauge my students' understanding of the material. Therefore, I regularly conduct tests to evaluate their progress and identify areas where they might need additional support.
As a result of my passion and hard work, I was honoured to be recognised as the "Best Teacher of the Year" at Saint Paul School. Currently, I conduct my classes from 3:30 pm onwards. I allocate one hour to each session, ensuring my students receive undivided attention and personalised guidance. I aim to impart knowledge and instil a love for learning in each student I teach.
