My brother-in-law is in Korea presently. He will be moving to India in May 2015. He has a daughter who is will complete 4 years by April 2014. Can she get admission for LKG in Jnanodaya School. Could you please guide on the procedure?

But when I fill everything and submit the application it was showing as "Uncaught error! try again later". Hi, I today tried to fill in the online application for admitting my daughter to prenursery of Jnanodaya school. But when I fill everything and submit the application it was showing as "Uncaught error! try again later". Can any body let me know how to solve this? when I check on the date of birth drop down list it is displaying only upto December 2011, whereas below in their note they have mentioned that the child should have been born between December 2011 to November 2012.
Did any body experience the same? «less

Hello, lucky me :) i did not get a chance to stand overnight for application and get frustrated as this time the application was available on online and by far this school is the most unprofessional i have experienced. lucky me :) i did not get a chance to stand overnight for application and get frustrated as this time the application was available on online and by far this school is the most unprofessional i have experienced.

I did not get any SMS for interaction (we stay in PadmanabhaNagar). There are no cut-off dates displayed/communicated.
I had to go to school atleast 6 times to enquire (there are a couple of phone numbers but nobody ever answers them). Every time the response is wait some more time you may get and thanks to the rude front-office every time we had to return frustrated.
I was not allowed to meet any of the teachers nor staff even if I had few queries on facilities or academics. The rude answer was "you will need the details only if you get an SMS for interaction"
Though i had heard good reviews directly from other parents, these made me think if i really wanted to send my kid to such school?

all the best !! for those who did'nt have to go through such ordeals

all i said was about the unprofessional attitude towards parents who are genuinely interested in getting their kids admitted to the school.

so much for value based education and commitment to social welfare...

hello everyone.. I understand your anxieties... We too had same dilemas before admitting my girl to Jnanodaya school last year.. There are limited seats as told by Mr.Yogi.. To my knowledge if you are put up in the nearby places to school n in the interview if kids have performed well i.e. they should answer @ 80% then we can hope for admissions...... more»

Fortunately luck did matter n now shez studying LKG in Jnanodaya.. Reg school, Coaching is very well. they have taught till cursive writing, spellings of 2,3,4,5 letter words.. in numbers shez already able to tell n write till 50.. in other activities they have taught so many shlokas n bhagavadgita...school campus is spic n span.. teachers are quite strict but also friendly to children.. well disciplined... really wonderful school n wish u all a very best...... «less

It would be better to mention the criteria for selection in the application instead of giving silly reasons for not selecting. Has anyone received further intimation after the interviews? I don't understand what is holding them back to communicate openly about the admission www.process...instead of keeping the parents guessing on whether the kid will receive admission or not... any info pls ?

Hello All, I got to speak to the the staff in the school today. I asked them about the SMS not being sent to me till date. They asked me if I had come for the parents interaction meeting on 31 Dec. I got to speak to the the staff in the school today. I asked them about the SMS not being sent to me till date. They asked me if I had come for the parents interaction meeting on 31 Dec. I replied no, and said I could not come. One Gentleman replied that they are still sending SMS at random to parents and conducting interviews. Their criteria is to send SMS to the child who stays closest to the school. But there was one parent who stays very close to the school ( Heard it as Seethappa Agrahara) who had not received the SMS. We got to know that they will send SMS to the next prospect if the interviewed child fails the test. Since there are only 80 seats, Its highly improbable that any body staying farther from Basavanagudi, VV Puran or Chamarajapet gets an SMS. I have been asked to wait till Saturday, to see if I get an SMS. I get the impressions that luck is the only criteria that can get your child a seat in this school. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Will let you know if something good comes out of this ordeal. «less

They sent sms only for the selected children's parents and others were waiting with fingers crossed. As mr. Yogi said only lucky child will get sms. Answering their questions should not be the criteria for small kids.
