Certifications?
Java certifications are earlier known as SCJP(Sun Certified Java Programmer) and conduced by Sun Micro Systems. It is acquired by Oracle and now you have to get certified by Oracle. If you are a Java programmer, then Oracle Java certification is the best choice to start your career.
There are two Programmer level certifications:
OCAJP and
OCPJP
I would recommend you to take up these certifications as first step. This itself might take 4-6 months of time for the preparation. These two certifications have good value in the market
