Depends on what part of the IT industry interests you.
If you're planning to become a web developer. I would suggest you learn javascript first and then learn one of many javascript web frameworks like Angularjs. A lot of startups in india use Ruby on rails for rapid development so.. getting a job for ruby on rails is relatively easy.
If machine learning interests you, go for python. Python in the no. 1 language for machine learning and AI right now.
If you like systems programming or Robotics (Kernels, Operating Systems, Embedded Sytems) learn C or Rust.
If you feel you'd do well in mobile application development, your options would be Java | Kotlin (Android), Swift (iOS)
Hope that helps.

I suggest take some training in any of the tools, languages. Do few projects/pocs. And prepare those projects in such a way that you can explain them in detail in interview. Add those to resume. In this way, you will be special candidate out of so many thousands of graduates coming out.
Currently I see that there are lot of oppurtinities in Statistics and Machine Learning. Try learning concepts in these area. And implement them in Python or R languages. Do few projects (end to end). Add those to resume. I think you will definetly find a job.
Thanks,
