Hi. I would recommend DevOps because it has more opportunities,
You can learn simple tools like Git, Microsoft Azure platform etc. but it's simple.
Since you already having experience in testing domain try to find a better career in that field itself instead of changing the field and starting as fresher again.
Hi,
Don't think about switching/changing technology since you already hold 12 years of experience. You might have worked on software testing, webtesting, performance testing, load testing etc. Hosted on on-premises datacenter. Moving forward, think of testing of the technologies deployed in cloud. There is lot of scope for testing on cloud platforms too. Realize this, If you switch or change you will become a fresher. Learn generic cloud computing irrespective to vendors. By then you will understand scope for your existing technology. Please revert back if you have any other questions.
Thank you

Dear Savitha,
My recommendation is not to switch your domain as well as area. Go for Appium training or AA, Uipath or Blueprism training. In this way, you will get a lot of job opportunities in the airline's testing domain and a minimum of 50 per cent to 100 per cent hike on your current pay scale. No matter what your package is. I am looking for good Appium resources in NCR and not getting. So opportunities are endless. Go for the listed tools and enjoy your domain.

First of all, do not get confused by all the other options that get into the comments. Yes! Cloud is, indeed, the ongoing big thing. I have a way of learning things if you are looking for AWS or DevOps. My suggestion for you is to start with Linux basics, and small scale administration things then learn AWS solutions architect. Learning Linux makes it much easier for you to understand AWS. Once Linux is in place, you can learn AWS yourself. If I have to tell you in a much more easier way, Users and Group administration on Redhat Linux Administration is similar to Identity Acess Management in AWS, similarly VPC in AWS is based on DNS in Linux, The way you login into the AWS console is based on something called SSH in Linux. If you have a stable Linux skill, AWS is a piece of cake. Then try migrating your career as an AWS solution architect with Linux skills. Work and observe the environment of the company you joined for a minimum of 6 months, and you will know Devops on your own plus you will excel from foundation level to professional level. So Linux+AWS first. This plan helped me break the plateau, believe me, it works like wonders.
